A sitemap is an XML file that contains the URLs of all pages within your site. This file helps crawlers to find and index all of your job board’s content. In the wake of Google Job Search it is very essential to get your site visible for Google crawler.

Connect your site to Google Search Console

Step 1: If you haven't already, connect your job board to Google Analytics, which will automatically submit your sitemap.
Step 2: Within your dashboard, navigate to Settings>System Settings and click on 'Google Search Console.

The first time clicking on the link may require you to verify your Google Search account.

Step 3: Within the Google Search Console, you can verify that your sitemap was submitted by clicking on 'Sitemaps' in the sidebar menu.

You can access Google Search Console through your job board, or by visiting the Google Search Console site directly.
